Queer as Oak Ballroom Dance Team
In 2026, we organized a 6-month training program for beginner ballroom dancers with a goal of competing in The Gay Games in Spain.
Nightclub Two-Step Choreo Class
Last fall we put together a performance group in just a few weeks. We performed at Sundance Saloon, Starlight Strut, and our own Winter Showcase.
Wednesday Night Dance Parties
A few times a year we will have dance parties for our community where we get to enjoy some of the types of dances that we learn in class.
We have class
Mostly what we do is learn to dance in class. Many kinds: country-western two-step and waltz, nightclub two-step, east coast swing, west coast swing, Ballroom, American, Latin, Lindy Hop—whatever we’re in the mood for.
