This is for the 4 Wednesdays in October only.
We are about to begin learning an original choreographed group dance in the style of East Coast Swing & Lindy Hop to an exciting LIVE version of a classic hit: Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen!
All dancers are welcome. Most of it will be doable for anyone who's tried some East Coast Swing and other partner dance. There will be a "Spotlight" section for those who want to dance even more.
The goal is to bring this energetic crowd-pleaser to Fog Town Hoedown in San Francisco on either October 30 or 31. There will be other performance dates, Oct 24, early Nov, and Dec 9. You do not have to perform at all of these.
Wednesdays:
September 23 @ 6:45 - Taster Class and Info Session (Drop-in OK) $15 pre-reg. / $18 at the door
September 30 from 6:45 to 8:30 - Extended class, deep dive into learning the choreo (Drop-in OK) $22 pre-reg. / $28 at the door
October 7, 14, 21 & 28 (long) - This is the 4 week series. Pre-registration required. Classes are from 7:45 to 8:45. Class on October 28 is longer -- from 6:45 to 8:30.
Cost:
$95 for the October series - 4 Wednesdays
"Spotlight" dancers may need additional lessons, separate fee.
